Since the start of their video commerce activities in June 2023, GRUBE has gone live with a shopping show each month. High interaction and a variety of settings require a stable technical basis and flexibility: Find out how and why our software is used at GRUBE.

The live streams present products in their natural environment, allowing viewers to not only see the items, but also receive valuable tips and tricks on how to use them – and buy them directly via product links.

Thanks to the interactive live formats, customers can ask questions directly in the chat and receive answers swiftly. This creates a high level of customer loyalty and ensures that their needs and questions are clarified.

Live Shopping enables GRUBE to draw attention to complementary products and sell them directly in the stream. For example, watering tips are presented together with matching hoses, pipes and timers – a real added value for customers.

The live streams create authentic video content that remains available in the media library even after the show. This gives GRUBE the opportunity to reuse the content sorted by topic and also embed it on the product detail pages so that it can be viewed by website visitors later on.

The live shows are hosted by a GRUBE moderator together with product experts from the team or the manufacturer brands, creating a personal and familiar atmosphere.

GRUBE produces the shows with its own team and streams directly via MOVEX | Live Shopping so that no other service providers need to be involved. Camera, microphone, gimbal, lighting, laptop and directional antenna make professional in-house realisation possible.

The figures speak for themselves: on average, around 3,000 viewers watch the live shows and the recordings are watched by a further 5,000 interested shoppers. With an average viewing time of 5 minutes, it is clear that the format is well received by customers and that they are actively engaging with the content.

 

GRUBE is planning to include the videos on the product detail pages of the website in the future in order to offer customers an even better overview of the products. In addition, the live shopping formats will also be used for GRUBE subsidiaries to increase their reach and service level.
