Azure Data Architect

What will you do?

  • Designing scalable and efficient data architectures in Azure, considering factors such as data volume, velocity, variety, and veracity. This involves creating conceptual, logical, and physical data models and defining data flows.
  • Develop and maintain Lakehouse, Data Warehouse (DWH) and Data Mesh architecture in Azure.
  • Design and develop data models that support efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and other stakeholders to understand data needs for BI, AI, and automation (RPA) use cases.
  • Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions.
  • Work with cloud infrastructure teams to design and optimize Azure data services and resources.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies and best practices especially those relevant to BI, AI, and automation.
  • You will work with a cross-functional together with our colleagues in Spain and Germany - Dresden and Hamburg! 

What's your story?

  •  Understanding of Azure services and technologies, including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Synapse Analytics, and others.
  • Strong understanding of Lakehouse, Data Warehouse (DWH) and Data Mesh concepts and implementing data architectures in cloud environments, preferably in Azure.
  • Experience in building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and data sets in Azure with a focus on supporting BI, AI, and automation (RPA) use cases.
  • Skilled in SQL, Python or R and familiarity with other programming/scripting languages.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, data access, and data storage techniques.
  • Understanding data security, privacy regulations, and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Continuous learning mindset to keep up with evolving Azure technologies and their applications in BI, AI, and automation
  • Good English skills, written and spoken.
