FAQ FOR APPLICATION

Do you have questions about the application process or about OSP as an employer? In our FAQ we provide answers to the most frequently asked questions.

We publish all our vacancies on the Career page of our corporate website. Current vacancies are displayed in the Jobs section.

For jobs at OSP in Madrid: Please select your preferred job and send your application to jobs@osp.de. 


For jobs at Dresden, Hamburg or Altenkunstadt: Select your preferred job and use our online application form. You can access it by clicking on the "Jetzt online bewerben” button at the end of each ad.

If you don’t see a suitable position listed on the website, please feel free to send us a speculative application.

We endeavor to keep our vacancies up to date on a daily basis. If you are unsure, please do not hesitate to contact us.

You will need to send us the following documents:

  • A cover letter (optional if it is not explicitly requested in the relevant job advertisement)
  • A detailed resume outlining your professional experience in a few key points
  • Relevant references and certificates

You will generally find the name of the relevant contact person in each job advertisement.

Your documents constitute the initial selection criteria for us. First of all, we will check that your application is complete. We may ask you to send us further documents or more detailed information. All documents will then be reviewed by our recruitment staff and by the relevant department to check that you have the necessary technical and personal skills. You will receive prompt feedback from our recruitment colleagues.

Please get in touch with the contact person named in the job advertisement. We forward technical problems to our support colleagues and endeavor to find a fast solution or an alternative.

Absolutely! It is often only very slight issues that tip the balance for or against an application. You are therefore very welcome to try again.

Sure! However, in such cases, you do not need to submit several applications. Simply list the positions that you wish to apply for in your cover letter. We also reserve the right to suggest alternative positions to you.

You have been invited to attend for an interview – this means that we have been impressed by your application and you have successfully cleared the first hurdle! Now we would like you to convince us in person that you are the right man or woman for the job.

We recommend that you find out what you can about OSP in general and, specifically, about your preferred area of work. Don’t worry: your knowledge will not be tested, it will simply help to guide the interview and what you tell us about yourself. We can only evaluate what we actually see and hear about you in the interview. An authentic presentation and well-prepared questions will help both us and you to determine if we are a good match.

You are also welcome to apply to join us even if a vacancy is not currently advertised. Simply send us your speculative application and refer to the area that you would like to work in.

We offer both work placements and internships if you are looking for interesting practical experience while you are still studying. We look forward to receiving your speculative application if you would like to get to know a certain area.

Once you have completed your studies, OSP can offer you the opportunity to immediately join a modern company in the Otto Group. We will support you with the training you need to quickly become a fully fledged member of the team.
